Hi friend! Last time we were together, you heard from Beth McCord when she encouraged us how the Gospel changes us. I LOVE that Beth shared about the core longings that we each have and it was so interesting to hear that. Be encouraged by listening to Beth’s story about how she has found the Enneagram personality system such a great tool when she was a wife and young mother starting her family. You can listen to ep. 128 here.

Today’s episode is with Lindsay Leiviska, She is a wife, mom of three, writer, and homeschool coach. I asked her to share her precious story of how 18 months after adopting her son, her family went from a calm home to one of chaos. But, in that, Lindsay shares how God took her brokenness, and mercifully showed her himself. I try not to ask questions that make my guests cry, but you know when us mommas talk about our kids, sometimes the tears just flow!

Last time we were together, you heard from my friend, Lynn Lyle who encouraged us that God’s Got This. In these really interesting days we are living in, throughout the Covid-19 virus, it is encouraging to hear that we are not alone, that God is still on the throne, He is not wringing His hands and that HE is in control.

To be encouraged by listening to Lynn’s story of walking through cancer as a five year old and because of that losing her arm a few years ago, you can listen by clicking here

Today’s episode is with Enneagram expert and coach, Beth McCord.  You may have seen her live, on Instagram, or read one of her and her husbands books from their online ministry and company, Your Enneagram Coach. I ask her to share how she started using the Enneagram in her own life and Beth shares each types core longings and she shares a word picture about a cistern  that I will not forget.

Hi friend!  Last week I re-aired an episode with Glenna Marshall as she shared her God story of how God has taught her how to study His word asking one specific question, how she dealt with adoptive momma guilt, her families recent church merge, and steps we can take toward racial unity in our communities and churches. You can listen one episode back here

Today’s episode is with my friend, Dondra Fite. You may remember Dondra from episodes 43 and 44 of her story of infertility and adoption. Now is Part 3 and you don’t wanna miss it!

We talk about how nothing is impossible with God, her modern day miracle, and prioritizing silence in our lives.  Yes, yes and yes.

After listening, you can find the Show Notes at wrenrobbins.com/podcast/123 for the Eat Read Love links and quotes Dondra shared on this episode.

Hi friend!  Last week I re-aired an episode with Colby Crisler as she shared her God story of walking through Cystic Fibrosis, having a double lung transplant, and seeing God at work in her life.  You can listen to it one episode back, #121.

Today’s episode is with Glenna Marshall.  Glenna is a believer, Pastor’s wife, mother, speaker, author, and singer/songwriter. Glenna shares her God story with us and how Glenna overcame the imposter syndrome as an adoptive mama, how she expresses gratitude even when she has a meal that is noncompliant to her auto immune disease.

We spent the last part of the episode talking about the recent exciting church merge Glenna and her husband walked through this past Fall.  God led them to merge with another church and create a Gospel Focused racially diverse church called Grace Bible Fellowship.  We talk about how we can have no racial reconciliation if it’s not based on Jesus.  A much needed conversation to air.

After listening, you can find the Show Notes at wrenrobbins.com/podcast for the Eat Read Love links and quotes Glenna shared on this episode.

We have a few new people joining in the Friends of a Feather community over here, so I wanted to reair this special episode that was first brought to you in the Fall of 2019.

Colby shares her dynamic God story of needing a double lung transplant and I actually recorded with her 5 weeks after her surgery.  I'm thrilled to bringing this conversation back because it's one of my favorites.

You will be inspired, you may shed a couple of tears, and you will hear how gracious our God is in her story.
