Hey! Welcome to the Friends of a Feather podcast! I'm your host, Wren! As women, we need to build each other up, to encourage each other in our walks with Jesus. Each week, I get to chat with a friend who has a story to tell, a passion to share, or a dream she is pursuing. Be encouraged! We are all friends of a feather; let's stick together!

Vina Bermudez Mogg is rebuilding life with wood, paper and canvas in a century old cottage by the Puget Sound. She shares numerous stories about empty nesting, motherhood, Alzheimer's and caregiving, and how it all relates to restoring a 1926 abode.

Vina’s loves are her husband and four children, painting, and paddle boarding, and her cat, Bear.

Her heart includes a ministry started by her family members, the Kamay Project, which reaches out to the Ati People, an indigenous tribe of the Philippines that live on the island of Boracay.

Glad to have you here!

Today my guest is Carla Gasser.  She is a wife, mom and author of "The Beauty of an Uncluttered Soul".  Carla's ministry is all about connecting faith and life.

We have an incredible conversation about Carla hearing her diagnosis of an autoimmune disease, Myasthenia Gravis. She takes us through her journey of her first panic attack and how she leaned into Jesus during that time.  Carla is a beautiful lady who has a beautiful heart and I loved our time together.
