Welcome to the Friends of a Feather Podcast!  I'm your host, Wren Robbins!

Today's episode is with Alli Worthington.  Alli  shares how she started her online business as a necessity, how we can partner with God by using our gifts, and we can stand strong is not because of us but only because Christ is in us! 

Alli Worthington is known for her straight-talking encouragement and practical tools that help women reach their dreams in business and life. She’s a business coach and co-founder of Called Creatives, where she coaches writers and speakers.

Author of The Year of Living HappyFierce Faith, and Breaking Busy, Alli is a well-known speaker and host of the popular podcast, The Alli Worthington Show

Her no-nonsense, guilt-free take on business, family, and balance have led to appearances on TODAY and Good Morning America

Alli lives with her husband, Mark, and their five sons outside of Nashville with the only golden retriever who refuses to retrieve.

Today's guest is Deborah Pegues.  Deborah is a certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of North Texas and an MBA degree in Finance from the University of Southern California, Deborah is also a Certified Behavioral Consultant.

She is in great demand to share her expertise in resolving interpersonal conflicts via effective confrontations. She has conducted transformational training in secular and non-secular organizations on achieving organizational unity. Her advice has appeared in Essence magazine, Charisma, Redbook, and other national publications.

Respected community leaders have praised Deborah for her excellence, forthrightness, and integrity. She and her husband, Darnell Pegues, have been happily married for over 40 years. They reside in California and have many spiritual children.

Today's guest is Isabel Tom.  Isabel is a wife, mom to three and enjoyed the gift of growing up in a intergenerational Chinese American household. She was able to spend her life growing up with her other two sisters, her parents, and her grandparents under the same roof. Her grandparents lived to the ages of 98 and 102.

Professionally Isabel has over 13 years of experience working at reputable healthcare organizations in the senior living and hospice care field. She holds a Master in Public Health from the University of Maryland, College Park. She is the author of “The Value of Wrinkles” A Young Perspective on How Loving the Old Will Change Your Life.

Isabel’s family immigrated from Hong Kong and Isabel said this about her grandparents, “they offered me an additional layer of love and attention.”

Today’s guest is wife, mom, author, and funny lady,  Sophie Hudson. Sophie started writing her blog called BooMama in November of 2005 and has since launched a podcast with writing buddy, Melanie Shankle.  She has written many books where she shares stories from her life in a charming way to share encouragement and hope with fellow believers.  She lives with her husband and son in Birmingham, Alabama.  Sophie loves watching football, loves to laugh, and loves music and Netflix!

On this episode, right out of the gate, I ask Sophie to share about out her latest love of Secret Treasures pajamas from Wal-Mart,  And, yes I did wear them throughout most of my Corona.
