Hey! Welcome to the Friends of a Feather podcast! I'm your host, Wren! As women, we need to build each other up, to encourage each other in our walks with Jesus. Each week, I get to chat with a friend who has a story to tell, a passion to share, or a dream she is pursuing. Be encouraged! We are all friends of a feather; let's stick together!

Today’s guest is best selling author and business coach Jennifer Allowed. Jennifer is a wife, mom to four, entrepreneur, and podcaster of The Jennifer Allwood Show!  Jennifer started her painting company painting houses then created DIY videos and that business grew to making six figures, fast. People started asking questions about how she built her business which led to her finding her passion which is teaching women how to build a business online.

I love Jennifer because she is so down to earth and she keeps her faith and family a priority.

You will love her! So here is my conversation with Jennifer Allwood!

This is your host, Wren Robbins and the last time we were together you heard from Dr. Saundra Dalton Smith about the 7 types of rest. SUCh a great episode for you to catch!

Today’s guest is Jessica Hottle.  She is a wife, cat mom, body coach, author, and podcaster.  Jessica uses her story to help women emotionally and physically while keeping God at the center.  Jessica and I start out talking about a funny thing we were bonded by, so laugh with us but hear the depth of her walk with Jesus.

Hey friends, It’s Wren and if this is the first time you’ve joined us on the podcast or if  you’ve been listening for a while, hey!

Last time we were together, you heard from writer, Catherine Parks. Catherine shared about why vulnerability really does matter in our relationships.  We talked on a practical level about how to point our hearts and our friends’ hearts to Jesus and it was like a balm to my soul.  If you haven’t listened yet, check it out on your podcast app or as always you can find it on my web site wrenrobbins.com if that is easier.

We only have 2 more guests in this series, ya’ll!  It’s FLOWN by!  I hope each conversation with experts in their field have given you excellent strategies and a shot in the arm for living healthy after our time of quarantine! Take a screen shot of an episode, post in instastories, and tag me!  I would love to see it and repost it in my stories as well!

Today’s guest is Dr. Saundra Dalton-Smith.  Dr. Saundra is a board-certifed internal medicine physican and Christian author. She reached her breaking point of burnout a few years back when her two teenage children were toddlers.  At that point, she started doing loads of scientific and Biblical research on the subject of REST and how to integrate it as a daily lifestyle.  She is sharing that with us today and I can’t wait.

I’m Wren Robbins and I’m glad you’re here!  Happy Summer!

Last time we were together, you heard from family therapist, David Thomas.  Oh my goodness, it was like a mini counseling sesh for me, but I asked questions that would benefit all of us if you are a parent!

Go to my web site wrenrobbins.com to listen to that episode number 137!

This Summer has been so needed in my heart and so I hope it’s been helpful for you, too!

Today’s guest is Catherine Parks.  Catherine is a wife and mom to two, and an incredible editor and writer!  After speaking with Catherine and reading her book, I’m so grateful for her words to us about relationships.

I’ll see you next time when I chat with Dr. Saundra Dalton Smith. She is a medical doctor and will be sharing about her own burnout with being busy.  She shares 7 types of rest.  I’ll just tell you right now…I did not look at my notes the entire time until right at the end…that’s how well our conversation flowed! So, stick around for that next Friday!

XO,

Wren
